Erin reflects our world though the lens of closeups. Her signature look of re-imagining details into new perspectives, create abstractions of form and layers of imagery that reveal a new visual reality. The sources of her inspiration are what she loves around her - children in the water, a feather on the beach, the way the ceiling meets the molding... the everyday around us. Always searching for the perfect composition, Erin discovers the simple beauty in the world and transforms it . Each image takes Erin on a journey of abstraction. Deconstructing something into a detail creates a new object. Reimagining that detail into a fresh perspective creates a surpise everytime. “I never know where an image will take me,” she says. “It’s a new ride every time.” |
Erin studied at Parsons School of Design, where she earned a BFA.
As an awarded creative director, Erin has appeared
on the cover of both San Francisco Magazine’s design issue
and Adweek’s best creatives issue.
She and her family split their time between San Francisco and Bolinas.
Always remarking on the strong contrasts of
both areas being so close to one another, their differences
are a constant source of creative inspiration for her.
